Owen Sound Sidewalk Astronomy

Owen Sound Sidewalk Astronomy is Steve Ritchie and AnnMarie Rowland, musicians and astronomy enthusiasts dedicated to sharing views of the night sky. 

We invite you to step away from the day-to-day world and look up. Explore the surface of the moon, the rings of Saturn, and other celestial wonders through our two big Dobsonian telescopes. 

 Because of uncertain weather conditions, most of our events are scheduled only a day in advance. The easiest way to keep up on where and when we will be doing a public viewing is by following the Owen Sound Sidewalk Astronomy Facebook Page, and checking frequently for announcements.

In July and August we often take part in public events hosted by Bayside Astronomy on Fridays and Saturdays in Lions Head. 

We are members of the Bluewater Astronomical Society, and R.A.S.C.
